[JBoss jBPM] - Re: [size=16][b]JobExecutor not started when restart jboss s
by karluqs
Hi kasabov,
I had the same problem. Configure in the web.xml the following listener
| <listener>
|

| Starts the job executor on servlet context initialization and stops it on
| servlet context destruction.
|

| <listener-class>org.jbpm.web.JobExecutorLauncher</listener-class>
| </listener>
|
This will start the jobscheduler
You can also configure the following servlet, that's optional, only for information on jobScheduler health
| <servlet>
|

| This servlet has the purpose of executing pending jobs. Deprecated,
| replaced by JobExecutorLauncher.
|

| <servlet-name>JobExecutorServlet</servlet-name>
| <servlet-class>org.jbpm.job.executor.JobExecutorServlet</servlet-class>
| <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
| </servlet>
| <servlet-mapping>
| <servlet-name>JobExecutorServlet</servlet-name>
| <url-pattern>/jobs</url-pattern>
| </servlet-mapping>

Remote access to Jbpm Jboss
by Alexis Ducastel
Hello everybody !
We currently have to develop a Wf-XML interface for JBOSS JBPM. We are
working on JBPM community 3.3
We really need to remotely instantiate a process by example, on a jbpm
engine working on Jboss.
This stuff could be well done on the jbpm-console. In parrallel we have
tried to do this by using jbpm API unsuccessfully.
Could anyone help us by providing us some advises, pieces of code,
tutorials, or whatever you want ....
Thanks a lot.

[JBoss jBPM] - problem with version 4 jBPM runnin and installing
by ftedious
jBPM (jbpm-4.0.0-Alpha1) looks interesting it is in my short list; good graphics after installing into Eclipse, but the instruction for packaging, deploying and running a BPM app are not that clear. Feel like there is other documentation I just haven't found it.
The test program:
public static void main(String[] args) {
// TODO Auto-generated method stub
ProcessEngine processEngine = new Configuration().buildProcessEngine();
ProcessService processService = processEngine.getProcessService();
ExecutionService executionService = processEngine.getExecutionService();
ManagementService managementService = processEngine.getManagementService();
TaskService taskService = processEngine.getTaskService();
processService.createDeployment().addResource("process.jpdl.xml").deploy();
Gets the following exception:
0:14:25,653 SEV | [DefaultCommandService] exception while executing command org.jbpm.pvm.internal.cmd.DeployCmd@8e32e7
org.jbpm.JbpmException: resource process.jpdl.xml does not exist
at org.jbpm.pvm.internal.stream.ResourceStreamInput.openStream(ResourceStreamInput.java:55)
at org.jbpm.p
Any help in orienting me to your platform woould be appreciated, I have limited time on this contract for evaluation.
thanks Frank

[JBoss jBPM] - Re: jbpm console on an empty database; how to gain access
by tbeernot

| Please search the forum, and better, the wiki. example scripts to popoulate the db are there..
My my. It took me the better part of the day to get the console up and running. The biggest problem was that the sesamestreet example data has groups named "administrator" and "participant", while the Tomcat web.xml talks about "admin" and "user". There are so many wheels to link up...
Anyhow, I still have one question: JBPM isn't capable of generating a process image by itself, it must have an image (made by the designer) uploaded?
I get "Process Image Not Available" errors because I generated the ProcDef directly from the XML?
When I try to get the image on the token I get:
Error getting diagram info: An exception of type "java.lang.NullPointerException" was thrown.
I assume that has the same cause. However if I place an image at, for example, "sa/pi/1.jpg", it still isn't displayed.
