Only way that comes to my mind would be an ugly one.

that is accessing static ServiceRegistry and looking up service there.

we could how ever add some extra handler to handler chain that would add some msc related APIs as an attachment.

What exactly is your use case?

Maybe it could be done another way around, for example when creating / registering your handler which should be done deployment time instead of runtime.
it would also be faster.
