I agree, you should be using the latest from 
https://github.com/jboss-developer/jboss-wfk-quickstarts/tree/2.6.x-develop/contacts-mobile-basic 
and make sure your settings.xml is pointing to the correct repo.



If you still have problems after that please let me know.

Hi,
Have you changed your maven settings.xml as explained in the readme (section 
"configure maven")?
Btw, I see that you are trying to build my fork , I haven't updated it since 
a long time and depending on what you are trying to do it would be better to 
to take a more recent one.
