Overall idea here is to get MASTER (currently labled as '1.1.x') rely on
latest greatest, including JDK8 (see other email)
However, for our 1.0.x branch there will be a few more releases that are
also targeting EAP 6.x, until the end of the year + maybe a few fixes early
next year

IMO main diff. is really the actual KC adapter, since they hook into two
completely different web-servers.
