[aerogear-dev] jboss parent pom update?

Hi,

our aerogear-parent uses an older jbosss-parent #11. This version uses some
older libraries/plugins. For instance the checkstyle version in there is
not understanding java8.

We have done some work arounds, like:
https://github.com/aerogear/aerogear-webpush-server/blob/master/pom.xml#L275

Why not going to a newer jboss parent instead, e.g. 17 ?
Sure - this needs some tests :-) but I was wondering if there is a general
concern
