[~jstefek] - is it possible, that the issue is caused by the fact that you are not using accessors for accessing {{tree}} page fragments (you are [accessing member field|https://github.com/richfaces/richfaces-qa/blob/master/metamer/ftest/src/test/java/org/richfaces/tests/metamer/ftest/richTree/TestTreeToggling.java#L61] directly).
