Consider to re-evaluate this issue since there is Arquillian Recorder / Reporter extension which does what you need pretty well.

Screenshot feature is considered to be done however there is licence issue with video recorder. Application server logs are under https://issues.jboss.org/browse/ARQ-1728 

I believe, if anything, this is a problem of Arquillian Reporter hence any further issues and requirements should be redirected to that component.
