-------------------------------------------------------------

I've reproduced this locally and the errors look very similar to what was reported for Liberty at https://developer.ibm.com/answers/questions/181781/dependency-injection-problems-with-cdi-12-feature/ so I would assume this is related to this WELD issue and not to the upgrade to arquillian 1.4.

Potentially this will be addressed in a subsequent fixpack of WAS.

This is an intermittent error and it doesn't seem to appear with every run. I've had clean runs with arquillian 1.4 as well.
