After talking to Scott we don't need to be reloading the profile in order to pickup changes in stats or configurations, only new deployments.
Also when accessing the profile remotely, loading the profile doesnt pull all of the mgmt data across the wire each time, its only when you query for a particular managed object that it is brought from the JBAS instance.
