Dont think this is super bad, just making a note of it for now

(6:23:54 PM) ccrouch: yes i edited the ds.xml and then went to the config page and it was updated
(6:25:32 PM) ccrouch: ah, but it needs the discovery to run before it gets updated.
(6:26:10 PM) ccrouch: if you make the change to the ds.xml quickly and reload the config page, it doesnt get updated
