I agree with your theory as to why this is happening, but this is an AS/EAP bug. From the RHQ side, all we do is invoke the Profile Service's apply template API to create a new managed component. The naming and creation and of the deployment config file is all done by the app server. Ondra, can you please create a JBPAPP issue for this and assign it to Emmanel M?
