The fix for this issue was only committed to RHQ 3.0.0 and RHQ 3.0.1. It did not make it into master. The issue has been raised against master as https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=707759 and is being resolved in a different way. Additionally, the fix in master is being pushed to RHQ 3.0.1 branch which will revert the timeout back to 60 seconds but also includes a method to override the default at a JVM system property level.
