Is this https://github.com/forge/plugin-spring-mvc the scaffolding plugin being talked about here?

I guess we could get it fixed since it resides under the Forge organization in GitHub.

   If that is the case, could you please raise a bug in JIRA here: https://issues.jboss.org/browse/FORGEPLUGINS ? The component would be the Spring plugin.
