Here are the guidelines for creating a Java package in Fedora.

You can take a look at the ShrinkWrap package for a very straightforward example of Java package spec that has no external dependencies (other than Maven):

Note that ShrinkWrap has one extra requirement to run w/ a JAVA5_HOME environment variable, which you can probably ignore.
