Indeed, it's an issue with UIPortal cache. 

  To support the Abort action, we use a clone UIPortal during Edit Inline phase. That object is built from UserPortalConfig. Persistenting edited UIPortal is done through that clone UIPortal. That 's why the save is done properly even if the UI was wrongly display
