Matt Wringe commented on GTNPORTAL-2280:
----------------------------------------

please make sure its not a caching issue, the gadget proxy server runs on a different url, so even ctrl-alt-r doesn't clear it if you are on the portal page. The only way I have been able to get caching to consistently work is to clear everything from my browser, or open a new chrome instance and go into private mode. The caching is a real pain with gadgets, especially when you can be using a gadget cache from a different version of gatein :( Not fun to debug those issues.

> Gadget preferences don't work properly
> 1) it does not currently load the default values. This means if you go to edit a gadget, the preference values will be appear empty. So if you click save, it will overwrite all the values. This also applies to enum properties where the default value is not correctly set.
> 2) preferences appear to be displayed in a random order, and not the order specified in the gadget's xml file
