I just removed the "Hibernate Quickstarts" from the list of available
projects, sorry.
You CV looks like very impressive, and in the scope of the Infinispan
project we recently did some interesting research in collaboration
with INESC-ID Lisboa, specifically with Professor Paolo Romano.

To be honest I think your experience would be put at better use on
Infinispan, where we have plenty of things to do while you can also
foster your expertise on distributed systems. Just to state a crazy
idea that just crossed my mind while reading about your thesis, I
think we could use a simulator like that as a tool to improve the
testuite of Infinispan; but that's just an example, I'm not sure if
it's worth elaborating.

I would love to have you propose an idea yourself which involves
Infinispan, or possibly one of the integrations we have across
Hibernate Search & Infinispan, or Apache Lucene and Infinispan.

Best,
