Hi,

Yes, we should jump directly to 3.4 after waiting for a moment to see if the release is viable (Cassandra project has released a couple of DOA releases in the past). The SASI indexes are something we have use for in the query-language department.

Question - should we try to directly jump to 3.4, as it adds some
secondary indexes for text search (iirc) something we may want
to have sooner and later and we would skip one (schema) update
cycle that way?

But of course John Sanda needs to tell if that jump is feasible at all.
