Those two are harmless.

I haven't seen that before

I see that you are using JrubyFx 1.2, while I am still on 1.1.1
I did not even know that 1.2 is out.

I did just wipe jruby-9.1.5.0 (rvm remove jruby-9.1.5.0) and then

$ rvm install jruby-9.1.5.0
$ rvm use jruby-9.1.5.0
$ gem install bundler
$ cd hawkfx
$ bundle install

and it pulled in jrubyfx-1.1.1

and it starts like this

snert:hawkfx hrupp$ jruby -G -S hawkfx.rb
/Users/hrupp/.rvm/gems/jruby-9.1.5.0/gems/jrubyfx-fxmlloader-0.4.1-java/lib/fxmlloader/elts.rb:158:
warning: `<<' after local variable or literal is interpreted as binary
operator
/Users/hrupp/.rvm/gems/jruby-9.1.5.0/gems/jrubyfx-fxmlloader-0.4.1-java/lib/fxmlloader/elts.rb:158:
warning: even though it seems like here document
