[hibernate-dev] [HV] Supporting Joda Time API with @Past/@Future

I'm for with that. As for it being too specific, I believe that the new
validators can be made to depend on Joda Time as a compile dependency that
is not needed by anyone using Hibernate Validator unless he needs that
functionality.
