My 2 cents would be that having a way to get any subsystem to ignore resources would be a good thing
since you never know what insanities users are doing and will be doing in the future.

Is there *anything* similar to jboss-ignore in AS 7 ?

For being able to detect automagically that you don't need to be magic would of course be the best
but I think hard to do safely.
