[jboss-dev-forums] [Design of JBoss Collaboration Server] - JBMS Alternate Datastore

Hello -

Considering JBMS for a redundant, fail-safe email environment.

As far as I can tell, redundancy for JBMS is implemented via the RDBMS that it uses as a mail store. In a MySQL cluster, for example, there would be 2 or more SQL servers. Without a load balancer between the JBMS servers and the MySQL cluster, if a MySQL node fails, how does the JBMS node using that MySQL node know how to start using another MySQL node instead?

Thank you for any help.
