<div class="jive-rendered-content"><p>A new BPMN 2.0 compliant graphical editor project has recently been provisioned at eclipse.org and is currently being actively developed by&#160; Red Hat/JBoss, among others.</p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p> The BPMN 2.0 Modeler provides a graphical modeling tool which allows creation and editing of BPMN ( <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.bpmn.org/">Business Process Modeling Notation</a> ) diagrams. The tool is built on <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.eclipse.org/graphiti">Eclipse Graphiti</a> and uses the <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/?project=bpmn2">BPMN 2.0 EMF meta model</a> currently being developed within the Eclipse <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/">Model Development Tools</a> (MDT) project. This meta model is compatible with the <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.omg.org/spec/BPMN/2.0/PDF">BPMN 2.0 specification</a> proposed by the <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://www.osoa.org/display/Main/Home">Object Management Group</a>.</p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p>The goal is to incorporate this new editor with the jBPM tooling, and eventually to provide an alternative for the drools editor. More information about the project can be found at the <a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://eclipse.org/bpmn2-modeler/">project web site</a>.</p></div>
