That works.    Yes, you can rename the branch if you like, this is one of the beautiful aspects of svn (IMO).   The move command allows you to move a file or directory.

Actually Scott suggested we make a Branch_1_0 (or rename Branch_4_0 - is
that possible in SVN?) to eventually produce a JBossCommmon-1.0.0.GA
version that will go with JBoss 4.0.5.CR1.

The trunk can be used to develop the version (2.0) that will go with
jboss head.
