This problem persists on Eclipse v3.2 final release with the JBoss IDE available from both of the following URLs:

http://download.jboss.org/jbosside/updates/development
http://download.jboss.org/jbosside/updates/stable

As a result, JBoss on Eclipse v3.2 is dead in the water.
