As discussed in an email thread, BPEL is part of the ESB platform as opposed to the AS platform. We will not include BPEL in JBoss AS 4.2 but we will verify compatibility with it as part of the JBossWS test suite.

We have verified compatibility between JBoss AS 4.2.0.GA and jBPM BPEL 1.1.Beta4, so I am resolving this issue.
