Stan Silvert commented on JBAS-4236:
------------------------------------

I've looked at all the changes and I tend to agree with Juergen. I don't see anything in 1.2_04 that changes JSF/JBoss integration in any significant way. And, some of the fixes are fairly significant. I don't see much risk at this point. Once 4.2 goes GA I think it will be wise to lag a little further behind, but for now I think it's fine to upgrade.

So, I'm going to go ahead and upgrade right away. It shouldn't take too long. The only effect is that it might mean we have to defer JBAS-3726 and JBAS-3162. These are just some new testsuite tests that I was hoping to finish up.

> Upgrade JSF RI: the current version is 1.2_03 and meanwhile Sun released 1.2_04 P01 which has several bug fixes.
> I tested the new Sun version with my app and couldn't find any troubles. I just exchanged the 2 JARs in jboss-web.deployer\jsf-libs.
