My suggestion is to use the "jboss-aop.jar" for the jdk5.0 version and name the jdk1.4 version "jboss-aop-jdk14.jar". This means changing the naming convention (for the aop jars) in the distribution zip. However, is seems as that would be consistent with the naming convention for jboss-common-core and jboss-container.
