With the introduction of log-bridge / log-manager code using java.util.logging.Logger will output to the standard jboss logs. Also the log levels can be configured in jboss-log4j.xml and their is a new class to understand the jdk levels (CONFIG. FINE, FINER, FINEST, etc.)
