Hello Andrew,

you are right - HttpRequest contains such implementation yet. It was done by my consequent work and accepted pull request later (it was a blocker for me).

But I have still some (unknown to now) issue - I can't get correct result of PUT request (RESTEasy integration TestSuite)... it is needed to do more investigation on my side. After some work of higher priority, I'll continue on this.

So I prefer to let open this issue now for better future tracking, maybe there is all done already, but I'm not sure now.
