Updated the view framework.  A failed response at the DMR level will now be automatically logged in the UI messages.

This is probably worth talking further about.  I'm still not sure that it's "In your face" enough to make the user notice and understand what failed.  I think this is a general shortcoming of DMR in that it's hard to pick out the real problem and present that to the user.
