I have tested this in 7.0.2 and after adding the following 
				<rewrite pattern="!^/12.001.0(.*)" substitution="/12.001.0$1">
					<condition test="%{HTTPS}" pattern="on"/>
				</rewrite>
The standalone.xml is saved as 
                <rewrite>
                    <condition test="%{HTTPS}" pattern="on" pattern="!^/12.001.0(.*)" substitution="/12.001.0$1"/>
                </rewrite>

And next time the server is started in complains about the configuration parsing
