I have noticed one thing that causes a hang, it may be related to the AS7 embedded hang.

When I run AS7 without any *new* bundles in the deployments folder the OSGi standard JMX osgi.core/bundleState bean doesn't come up. Adding a new bundle to the standalone/deployments folder will make it appear again.
