What needs to be done here is to take a look at http://aries.apache.org/modules/jndiproject.html or an equivalent implementation and see if it is sufficiently abstracted to integrate with the JNDI store that is available in AS7.

Compliant OSGI/JNDI functionality in AS7 is the target.
