I think

  | *  SeamInterceptor deals with injection into objects (delegates to Component)
  | *  SeamPhaseListener does init for JSF requests
  | *  SeamVariableResolver resolves (and loads?) the component for JSF
  | *  ...

I for one would be interested to see a more complete list
