[jboss-user] [JBoss Seam] - Question about Seam dvd example and persistence

Why are some EM annotated with EXTENDED and some are not. It seems to me that you would choose an aproach and then use it consistently throughout the application. So the real question is, what does it buy you to have some EJBs that uses EXTENDED transactions and some that don't?
