[jboss-user] [Tomcat, HTTPD, Servlets & JSP] - tomcat sendredirect scheme usage

what is expected behavior of tomcat on sendRedirects to relative URL's? I have a relative URL (expecting to be redirected as http) that gets redirected as https. seen some problems reported on previous versions on tomcat assuming the scheme for the redirects. is this a known issue?
