[jboss-user] [Clustering/JBoss] - Is cache-invalidation-service.xml necessary for EJB3?

Do I need cache-invalidation-service.xml (org.jboss.cache.invalidation.InvalidationManager) if I'm EJB3-only?  It looks like a dependency for CMP2 but the documentation is ambiguous.
