[jboss-user] [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - "could not make connection to the server"

When I start jboss I get the following error:

I am running JBoss version 3.2.5 and I am completely new to JBoss, just got handed the assignment to figure out what these errors are that started occuring ~4 months ago

It looks like it cannot connect to itself?
