Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. Assuming that you have a checkout of jboss aop, would you be able to add a test demonstrating the behaviour and attach the svn diff and new classes to a JIRA issue?

The test files to modify would be under
boss-aop\aop\src\test\org\jboss\test\aop\field

and the jboss-aop.xml file lives in
jboss-aop\aop\src\resources\test\field
