Thanks.  After I figured out how to remove the RI from the application on JBuilder, I ran this again.  This time I obtained the following error display:

HTTP Status 404 - /JSFTutorialAttempt2/login.faces

type Status report
message /JSFTutorialAttempt2/login.faces
description The requested resource (/JSFTutorialAttempt2/login.faces) is not available.
________________________________________
Apache Tomcat/5.5.20

Since I am new to JSF and relatively new to Java, I am not sure what the purpose is for a file ending in the ?.faces? suffix.
