Forums portlet became separate project called JBoss Fourms http://labs.jboss.com/portal/jbossforums
Please use it instead of forums portlet available in Portal. Also for discussing problems with Forums please use this forum: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewforum&f=247
