what is the code in ReportBean.java line 1087 (this is where the actual error occurs) ?

It seems you use EJB2.1, so maybe you should post your problem in the "EJB/JBoss" forum if nobody here can help you.

If you paste code use the "Post reply" button and embrace it with "... ", so that formatting is not lost. Makes it easier to read.
