How are you generating that URL?

Every time I've generated an URL from within the portlet, using createActionURL() and createRenderURL(), I end up with an additional parameter you don't seem to have:  action=(some_number)

Here's an example of what was generated:

  | http://localhost:8080/portal/auth/portal/default/default/AdminConsolePortletWindow?action=6&mode=view
  |
