fyi, i may be looking for the maven2 equivilent for ./lib/jbc-1.4.1.SP2/jboss-minimal.jar,
which contains
org/jboss/invocation/MarshalledValueInputStream.class

from my entry above, you can see i'm guessing on what jars to use.. need some help here.
