[jboss-user] [JBoss Seam] - how to declare Entity property not mapped to DB

Hello, 
I would like to declare a new property in some entity,  which should not be mapped to the database (this property holds temporal data), I search for something like @Volatile but no luck.

I'll deeply appreciate any help,
