Found the problem... I think. From what I can see, the JBoss-seam.jar must be in JBoss's lib directory. I placed it there so that classes would be loaded correctly. I then made sure the JAR was not in my web-inf lib directory. It was not. It was, however in my EAR. I removed it and it appears to load correctly now...
