No, I didn't have such things. It's just the hibernate2 example from the distribution, and it complains for <persistence:hibernate-session-factory ...> but not for <core:manager ...> or <security:identity ...>.
Of course I filtered out the validation messages :) as it seems to work otherwise, but it's still puzzling me.
