Ok.

All I want to do is install JBoss, drop the portal into it, and have it running on my domain in place of glassfish which is there now (I don't think glassfish has a portal yet). I have jboss-4.2.1.GA.zip, I have jboss-portal-2.6.1.GA.zip, and I have a bunch of documentation.

Let's ignore the portal for the moment.

When I unzip jboss-4.2.1.GA.zip, I wind up with three server direciries (minimal, all, and default). In the install/bun directory is a run script (run.sh).

  | * How does run.sh know what server (minimal/default/all) to bring up?
  | * If I want to run a prod and a dev instance, do I make two separate jboss install directories, or can I just make another directory under server?
  | * I want the prod and dev sevices to be entirely separate (ie: separate JVMs). Will running run.sh twice (with different params) accomplish this, or does it simply start up some sort of singleton core which is used every time you satr an intance?
  | * Where is the documentation for this?
