[jboss-user] [Beginners Corner] OutOfMemoryError on JBoss Portal, when run in 64-bit JVM

Steve,

Thanks again for the advice. I ended up changing the settings in my
run.conf to the following. The memory error isn't occurring anymore.

 JAVA_OPTS="-Xms4096m -Xmx6114m -XX:NewRatio=10 -XX:PermSize=64M
-XX:MaxPermSize=128M -Dsun.rmi.dgc.client.gcInterval=3600000 -
Dsun.rmi.dgc.server.gcInterval=3600000"

I am still getting some other errors with WSRP and facelets, but I will have
to resolve those in a separate thread if I am unable to find a solution
myself.

Thanks,
Chris
